David McCall Foundation - Cycling Ulster Youth 'Fun Day' on Saturday 8th May


The Cycling Ulster Youth Commission are pleased to announce that they will be holding a 'Fun Day' at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre on Saturday 8th May. The day is being supported by the David McCall Foundation and will be an opportunity for all Youth cyclists in the province to come together and get to know each other in a non competitive environment.

Activities for the day include orienteering and banana boating. Mickey McKenna will also outline the 2010 CU Youth Programme.

10:00-10.25 - Sign-on
10.30-11.30 - Talk on Orienteering
11.30-13.00 - Group 1 Banana Boating
11.30-13.00 - Group 2 Orienteering
13.15-14.00 - Lunch
14.00-14.30 - Talk outlining 2010 Cycling Ulster Youth programme
14.30-16.00 - Group 2 Banana Boating
14.30-16.00 - Group 1 Orienteering

Orienteering will be in pairs and any type of bike (as long as it is in good working order!) is suitable. Trainers, towel and proper clothing for the banana boating is required. The day will cost £5 per person and is being subsidised by the David McCall Foundation.

Details of the David McCall Foundation Ulster Youth Road Race League will also be announced shortly.
